Job description
Role Overview
This position entails evaluating revenue results, sales operations, and broader business data to aid strategic planning, enhance revenue streams, and foster sustainable growth. The incumbent will manage gathering, validating, and interpreting revenue-related data, constructing performance dashboards, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and uncovering opportunities to boost revenue and operational effectiveness.
Collaboration and Analysis
The role requires working collaboratively with teams such as sales, finance, revenue operations, marketing, customer success, product, and senior management to assess business performance, improve sales procedures, predict revenue trajectories, and deliver data-supported recommendations that guide strategic choices.
Key Functions
- Execute pipeline analyses, pricing and profitability assessments, revenue forecasting, customer segmentation, and process enhancements.
- Automate reporting and lead initiatives for continuous improvements that strengthen revenue operations and maximize business results.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrate previous experience in revenue analysis, revenue operations, sales operations, commercial analytics, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business intelligence, or strategic planning.
- Highly skilled in SQL and Microsoft Excel, capable of scrutinizing large datasets from CRM systems, ERP platforms, enterprise data warehouses, and financial reporting tools.
- Experienced in developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Looker Studio, Qlik Sense, or similar BI and data visualization tools.
- Have solid knowledge of revenue operations, sales pipeline oversight, forecasting, pricing tactics, profitability analysis, customer lifecycle management, subscription metrics, and commercial performance evaluation.
- Familiar with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT workflows, cloud data environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), predictive analytics, and automated workflow tools is a plus.
- Additional expertise in Python, R, Power Query, DAX, statistical methods, or financial modeling enhances analytical capability.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and capacity to convert complex revenue and operational data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience delivering analytical findings to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include certifications like Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Salesforce Administrator, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, CFA, ACCA, or related analytics and finance credentials.
- A commercially minded, strategic, results-oriented professional passionate about leveraging analytics, refining revenue operations, and driving data-informed methodologies for revenue acceleration and efficiency improvements.
