About the Role

We seek a dedicated Section Manager to become part of our Zara team, playing a key role in assisting the store leadership by managing a specific section within the store. This role demands supporting overall store performance while fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike. It requires active involvement in daily floor activities, team support, and ensuring consistent adherence to store standards in an energetic environment. The position is ideal for someone who is well-organised, people-oriented, and capable of performing effectively under pressure with fairness and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Implement merchandise layouts aligned with company directives and current sales trends.
  • Analyze sales data and customer preferences to optimize product placement.
  • Monitor stock levels and adjust availability to meet demand across departments.
  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and accessible sales floor.
  • Assist with product deliveries, restocking, and organizing the stockroom.
  • Meet daily deadlines involving store and omnichannel duties, including SINT processes.
  • Utilize store technologies and systems to improve operational accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and support the team through clear task assignment, effective communication, and fair delegation.
  • Adopt leadership that is respectful, inclusive, and consistent with company values.
  • Adhere to HR procedures and company standards with practicality and fairness.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and open dialogue within the staff.
  • Facilitate development plans, conduct performance reviews, and support career progression.
  • Coach team members with varying experience and skill levels to build confidence and resilience.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of customer service quality.
  • Provide team members with product details and styling advice to enhance customer experience.
  • Address customer inquiries calmly and with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible working environment according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Encourage sustainable and responsible operating practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast-moving retail environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to support or manage a team effectively.
  • Comfortable working with inventory management, sales analytics, and operational procedures.
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and dependable under pressure.
