Role Overview
This is an on-site retail sales position in Bundaberg, QLD. The role can be worked as either part-time or full-time hours. You will support customers by understanding what they need, suggesting suitable printer and supply products, and delivering a positive in-store experience.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and quickly understand their printing and office supply requirements.
- Recommend appropriate printers, toner, and ink products based on customer needs.
- Handle sales through cash registers and payment systems, including cash and card transactions.
- Keep shelves stocked, displays neat, and the store presented in an organized way.
- Answer questions from customers in person and over the phone.
- Carry out simple stock checks and help maintain inventory awareness.
- Assist with in-store promotions and other sales activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a clean, efficient, and customer-friendly shop environment.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Strong customer service ability, with active listening and professional communication.
- Retail or sales capability, including product suggestions and point-of-sale operation.
- Confidence explaining printer, toner, and ink features in easy-to-understand language.
- Good organization for stock handling, display upkeep, and store processes.
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong time management during busy periods.
- Comfort with prolonged standing and light manual tasks such as lifting and moving stock safely.
- Basic computer skills for email, retail systems, and inventory tools.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is helpful, though not essential.
- Commitment to workplace health, safety, and security procedures.
