About the Role
DIPS Decor & Linen, a rising name in textile retail specializing in home furnishings like bedsheets, quilts, comforters, and décor, is seeking a confident Retail Sales Executive. The position is based in Secunderabad, Hyderabad and requires engaging with customers during store operations as well as exhibition events across the region.
Key Duties
- Greet customers warmly and understand their needs to suggest suitable products.
- Explain product details such as fabric types, thread count, GSM, sizes, and care instructions comprehensively.
- Boost sales through upselling and cross-selling; manage billing via cash, UPI, and cards accurately.
- Pack parcels and coordinate dispatch by booking shipments through courier services.
- Maintain attractive and tidy product displays and price tags at the store and exhibition stalls within Hyderabad.
- Develop ongoing customer relationships to encourage repeat purchases.
- Assist with stock handling, loading/unloading, stall setup, and packing during exhibitions held in convention halls.
- Support product photoshoot efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Completed 12th standard or any graduate; certification in retail management is advantageous.
- Experience of 1 to 3 years in textile, apparel, home furnishing sales or retail; enthusiastic freshers with strong communication are welcome.
- Familiarity with POS billing systems, digital payment methods like UPI and cards, basic MS Office skills, and using WhatsApp Business.
- Available to work weekends, during festivals, and at exhibition events.
- Possess a pleasant and neat appearance, excellent communication and persuasion skills, patience, honesty, attention to detail, a customer-centric mindset, and self-motivation to meet sales goals in a team environment.
Additional Information
- Preferred candidates are those living near Secunderabad areas such as Dairy Farm Road, Alwal, Sainik Puri or within about 8 to 10 km radius.
- Documents required include Aadhar card, PAN card, and proof of address.
- Salary is set between 18000 to 20000 INR plus incentives.
