Our client is an international trading firm based in Hong Kong that deals in mobile phones, accessories, consumer electronics, audio-visual products, and related equipment.

Job Role and Responsibilities

The Retail Operations Specialist will oversee daily operations within HONOR retail stores and counters in DRC, ensuring the maintenance of store standards, including cleanliness, merchandising, and brand consistency. Responsibilities include managing sales targets on various intervals, assisting sales staff with customer service and closing sales, and enhancing conversion rates. Staff management tasks involve scheduling, attendance oversight, and delivering foundational training to improve team sales skills and customer service quality. Inventory management duties include monitoring product stocks, reporting shortages or damages promptly, and maintaining accurate records. The candidate will also be responsible for business reporting by gathering and analyzing sales data, store traffic, and conversion rates, and providing insights on market trends and customer needs. Furthermore, the role involves supporting marketing activities via organizing in-store events and promotions to boost customer engagement and sales performance.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate must have at least a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in retail operations or sales management within sectors such as mobile phones, electronics, or FMCG. Familiarity with the local retail market in Kinshasa and Lubumbashi is essential. Strong communication skills in French and local languages are required, with basic English considered advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting is necessary. The candidate should be detail-oriented, responsible, capable of working under pressure, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and be target-driven. Compliance with company management directives and operational arrangements is expected.

Remuneration

The position offers a monthly gross salary ranging from USD 500 to USD 1,500.
