Position Overview

We seek a proactive and detail-focused Retail Operations Intern to join our Retail Operations Department, providing valuable support within a prestigious luxury retail setting. This role is ideal for motivated individuals aiming to develop a career in luxury retail by gaining practical experience through administrative and operational assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage deeply with daily retail operations, focusing on enhancing processes in luxury retail and delivering outstanding service.
  • Assist in planning and implementing retail operational projects such as in-store events, process enhancements, and initiatives that improve client experience and efficiency.
  • Understand team dynamics and collaboration essential for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Participate in a variety of daily operational tasks to ensure flawless store functioning.
  • Analyze sales metrics to support strategic business decisions and boost brand performance.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to gain insights into leadership roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop effective communication and presentation abilities by articulating core brand messages within the team.
  • Observe and learn from strategic retail leadership meetings to understand vision development and execution.
  • Receive tailored mentorship and leadership coaching from senior Retail leadership to foster professional growth in luxury retail.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior retail experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a recognized institution.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Exposure to design tools like Canva or Photoshop is an advantage.
  • Strong team collaboration, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism in interactions with colleagues.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information responsibly and uphold confidentiality.
