Role overview
Acosta Group is hiring a Retail Merchandiser to support Walmart stores in Albany, Georgia. In this role, you will help client brands gain better shelf presence and product availability, while serving as the primary point of contact with store management in your assigned location.
Compensation and function
The role is tied to merchandising work and carries a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. The final wage may vary based on experience, skills, and/or location.

Schedule and working hours
Work may be scheduled any day from Sunday through Saturday, depending on store needs. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days per week, with Friday mandatory. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days per week, with Friday mandatory. Shifts begin between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM and run between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with no evening shifts.
Key duties
You will be responsible for locating merchandise in the backroom, stocking and packing out products, and keeping shelves organized. You will also place coupons and signage materials in the store, use a company-issued mobile device to complete tasks, and answer simple step-by-step questions within Acosta’s field technology while multitasking across applications. In addition, you will photograph completed work, represent Acosta and its clients inside the assigned Walmart store(s), work with Walmart management and associates, and stay in touch with your direct manager by email, phone, and text.
Success factors
Success in this role depends on building strong store relationships, working independently, communicating clearly with store staff and Acosta team members, sharing best practices with the nationwide Walmart team, asking for support when needed, completing assignments on time, following instructions carefully, submitting accurate data and photos, and reporting work the same day it is finished.
Tools and travel
You will need reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in your area according to the daily schedule.
