Job description
Overview
This contract role is designed for individual investors who can help train and assess AI systems built to mirror and strengthen the way real investors research opportunities, form opinions, and make decisions.
What you will do
- Investigate stocks, sectors, and broader market movements using public sources and professional research tools such as screeners, company filings, TradingView, and financial news.
- Develop and explain investment ideas, including why to enter or exit, what catalysts may matter, and which risks need attention.
- Review price action and market developments to separate meaningful signals from background noise.
- Judge AI-produced insights, summaries, and recommendations for correctness, clarity, and practical value.
- Share feedback on whether an output helps improve confidence in a decision or instead adds uncertainty.
- Recreate authentic investor workflows, including finding ideas, validating them, and monitoring a portfolio.
- Spot weak reasoning, missing context, and misleading conclusions in AI responses.
Who fits well
- People who actively participate in public markets such as equities, ETFs, or similar instruments.
- Individuals who regularly research and track investments on their own.
- Applicants who can clearly explain why a stock is moving and whether that move is actually important.
- Those with a strong feel for market sentiment, narratives, and behavioural patterns.
- Candidates comfortable using Reddit, X (Twitter), Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, or comparable tools.
- Strong written communicators who can present investment reasoning clearly.
Preferred background
- Experience with advanced research platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar tools.
- Exposure to technical analysis, financial statements, or macroeconomic indicators.
- Previous experience recording trades, investment theses, or outcome tracking.
What the company is looking for
- Investors who have built their own investing style, whether highly structured or still evolving.
- People who want deeper insight and faster comprehension instead of surface-level summaries.
- A genuine curiosity about markets and a drive to keep improving decision quality.
- The ability to stay conviction-driven while remaining open to new information.
Compensation
Compensation is listed at USD 105 to USD 200 per hour.
