Role Overview

The Retail Director position is a full-time, onsite role located in Denver, Colorado. This leadership role involves managing the daily operations of multiple Corvus Coffee Roasters retail outlets. Responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, overseeing inventory and visual merchandising, and setting and tracking sales objectives. The role requires analyzing store performance, implementing strategies to boost revenue, and ensuring exceptional service aligned with brand standards. Additionally, the director mentors retail managers and sales teams, organizes training sessions, and supports initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational productivity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven success in retail sales management, with a record of attaining or surpassing performance targets.
  • Extensive product knowledge in specialty coffee or related food and beverage products.
  • Strong focus on customer service excellence, including the ability to gather and respond to feedback effectively.
  • Excellent communication abilities for team leadership and customer engagement.
  • Experience managing multi-unit or high-traffic retail locations.
  • Expertise in staff development, coaching, and training.
  • Familiarity with business analytics, inventory control, and budget management.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
  • Experience within specialty coffee or food and beverage retail sectors is highly advantageous.
