Job description
Role Overview
King's Christian College is inviting applications for the position of Retail Coordinator at our Logan Village campus. This full-time, term-time role involves managing the school uniform shop, delivering excellent customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist parents, students, and staff with uniform selection and purchasing.
- Accurately process sales using the point-of-sale system, including cash and EFTPOS transactions.
- Maintain and manage stock levels, supporting inventory control.
- Ensure the shop is kept clean, organized, and welcoming to visitors.
- Provide sizing assistance to customers to ensure proper uniform fit.
Candidate Profile
- Possess strong communication and customer service skills.
- Exhibit effective time management and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Be friendly, approachable, and helpful in demeanor.
- Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrate reliability, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience with TASS School Shop software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Prior retail experience is desirable but not essential.
Terms and Conditions
- This position operates Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, during school terms.
- From 2027 onwards, attendance during school holidays is expected.
- Applications must include details of at least two recent professional referees.
- One referee should be able to attest to the applicant's alignment with Christian values and culture, preferably a pastor or minister.
