Retail Associate

Overview

The Retail Associate plays a critical role in driving store sales and profitability by inspiring customer loyalty, delivering excellent service, and executing store operations efficiently. This role embodies the brand values while serving customers and managing in-store activities.

Primary Duties

• Take full responsibility for achieving store sales, KPIs, and personal performance goals by utilizing all resources effectively.
• Implement brand customer service standards to surpass customer expectations consistently.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador by exemplifying the brand’s attitude and principles at all times.
• Apply up-to-date seasonal brand and product knowledge to engage customers during sales interactions.
• Clearly communicate product benefits, features, and unique selling points to meet customer needs and strengthen brand connection.
• Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
• Maintain visual merchandising and in-store communication standards according to company guidelines.
• Process merchandise deliveries efficiently and ensure store fixtures are replenished to display the full product range.
• Handle cash register operations promptly and accurately.
• Minimize product loss in both stockroom and sales floor areas.
• Perform store tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Collaborate respectfully and productively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Complete all relevant training programs and apply new skills on the job.
• Actively seek coaching and development opportunities to enhance job performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have completed high school education.
• Preferably at least six months experience in a customer-focused retail environment related to sports or fashion.
• Basic skills in numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication are essential.
