Role Overview

The Steward position is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad. This role centers on maintaining cleanliness and order within the cafe environment, including dining areas, service stations, and kitchen spaces. Key duties involve supporting the food and beverage service team by setting up and clearing tables, washing dishes, ensuring sufficient clean cutlery, dishes, and glassware are available, and assisting with basic food service tasks. The Steward also helps replenish supplies, adheres strictly to hygiene and safety protocols, and collaborates closely with staff to create a pleasant and efficient guest experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
• Familiarity with food and beverage operations, including café service standards and safety/hygiene measures.
• Capability to undergo and benefit from training relating to service quality, safety guidelines, and brand expectations.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and physically able to work on feet for long periods in a busy environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation; prior café or restaurant experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays as per operational needs.
