Restaurant Opening Coordinator – Kerala Restaurant Concept (Abu Dhabi)

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to help launch a new Kerala-style restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The role is focused on coordinating the setup and opening process, especially for someone who already understands Kerala cuisine concepts and restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan the menu and work out recipe-level costing.
• Coordinate kitchen layout, equipment choices, and setup.
• Identify suitable suppliers and manage procurement activities.
• Support hiring and training of restaurant staff.
• Handle municipal approvals and licensing-related coordination.
• Assist with POS configuration and delivery-platform onboarding.
• Help organize daily operational workflows and launch readiness.
• Provide overall support through the restaurant opening and initial launch phase.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the UAE with Kerala restaurants, including opening or working in such concepts.
• Solid knowledge of Kerala food styles and what customers expect from that cuisine.
• Strong ability to organize operations and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable coordinating with vendors, chefs, and leadership teams.
• Must already be based in the UAE.
• Ability to communicate in Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
