Overview

Our client seeks a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to maintain residential rental properties through various cleaning services including move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties for occupancy.

The client company manages rental properties, assisting owners, tenants, and internal teams with leasing, maintenance, inspections, property access, and ongoing management tasks.

Key Duties

• Conduct cleaning appointments at residential rental sites covering move-in, move-out, and rental turnover scenarios.
• Execute comprehensive residential cleaning that meets company protocols.
• Clean all rooms including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, and fixtures thoroughly.
• Remove all dust, dirt, debris, trash, and any leftover items as needed.
• Wipe surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch areas effectively.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
• Clean inside of appliances like refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when necessary.
• Identify any areas needing extra cleaning, repair, maintenance, junk removal, or further attention.
• Take clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting each cleaning job.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, and media after every visit.
• Maintain professional communication with property owners, tenants, prospective tenants, and internal staff.
• Adhere closely to company instructions, checklists, access details, and appointment schedules.

General Cleaning Tasks

• Move-in and move-out cleaning
• Rental turnover and deep cleaning
• Kitchen and bathroom sanitization
• Cleaning of appliances and floors
• Dusting, surface, cabinet, drawer, window sill, and baseboard cleaning
• Garbage removal and minor debris cleanup
• Preparing properties for photos, showings, inspections, or new tenancy move-in

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, contractor, or residential cleaner
• Strong knowledge of standard residential cleaning practices
• Access to reliable transportation for travel between locations
• Must have own cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments
• Comfortable working solo at residential rental properties
• Possession of a smartphone (iPhone 13 or equivalent) with a quality camera for photo/video documentation
• Capable of clear note-taking and submitting post-visit updates
• Ability to follow instructions and checklists precisely
• Professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Good communication skills respecting interactions with property stakeholders and team members

Preferred Experience

• Experience with move-in, move-out, or turnover cleaning
• Familiarity with preparing rental properties for photography, inspections, or occupancy
• Ability to recognize property damages, maintenance issues, pest problems, or unsafe conditions
• Experience working independently in property management or home services environments
