About the role
Oceania is focused on helping people live and age well, with a strong emphasis on making a positive difference for residents, their whānau, and colleagues. This fixed-term opportunity is being offered to cover parental leave and will suit someone who wants their work to have visible impact every day.
As the Resident Wellbeing Business Partner, you will work closely with village and care centre leaders to improve the planning, delivery, and ongoing development of resident wellbeing and experience. The role involves shaping wellbeing initiatives, supporting teams on site, and creating practical tools and frameworks that help ensure quality and consistency across multiple locations.
Every day may look different. You could be running a cluster session for wellbeing teams, improving programme materials, assisting a village coordinator, or reviewing feedback and insights to strengthen resident engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Create and improve wellbeing programmes that positively influence residents’ daily lives.
- Help villages and care teams deliver engaging and consistent wellbeing experiences.
- Build digital resources, tools, and frameworks that make delivery easier and more effective.
- Work alongside wellbeing teams across the organisation to provide practical, solutions-oriented support.
- Coordinate collaboration between wellbeing teams and promote effective practices.
- Oversee complaints processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Use data, feedback, and insights to increase participation and improve resident satisfaction.
What you’ll bring
- Background in wellbeing, resident experience, health, education, hospitality, or a related field.
- Comfort working across several sites or within complex environments.
- Strong ability to build relationships and earn trust quickly.
- Capability to influence and guide others without formal authority.
- A self-starting approach with a focus on finding better ways of working.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to improving resident wellbeing and experience.
Why join Oceania
Oceania operates by four core values: working as one team, continuously improving, keeping care at the centre, and delivering on commitments. You will join a collaborative and supportive environment where your contribution matters and where you can help shape experiences that make a real difference in people’s lives.
What’s on offer
- A meaningful role with purpose at its core.
- The chance to influence wellbeing across multiple sites.
- A supportive, values-driven culture.
- Variety and flexibility in your day-to-day work.
