We are currently seeking a Resident Services Officer to contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment at our Castle Hill Seniors Community.

This permanent full-time position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, focusing on delivering exceptional support and engagement within our Retirement Village setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the friendly face welcoming residents, guests, contractors, and visitors, ensuring excellent reception and concierge services.
  • Promptly address resident inquiries and issues with professionalism and care.
  • Help residents utilize village services, digital platforms, and participate in community activities.
  • Support new residents in their onboarding and orientation for smooth transition into village life.
  • Provide day-to-day practical assistance and link residents with needed support.
  • Manage reception duties, phone calls, emails, and general administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date resident records within village databases and systems.
  • Coordinate communications such as newsletters, notices, and digital display content.
  • Organize meeting setups, room bookings, and maintain meeting records.
  • Assist with resident correspondence and information dissemination in collaboration with village teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of resident events, activities, and wellbeing programs.
  • Facilitate event logistics including registration, room preparation, and feedback collection.
  • Encourage active resident participation to foster community connections.
  • Assist with transportation and attendance arrangements for village activities as needed.
  • Build constructive relationships with residents, families, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Help resolve resident concerns and address daily operational issues.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment and support ongoing improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Friendly, organised, and customer-focused individual passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of older adults.
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, reception, or hospitality roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organised, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and comfortable using digital systems.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Hold a valid, unrestricted Driver's Licence is preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team.
