Job description
Role Overview
The Resident Inspector performs detailed visual inspections at Riyadh metro stations and on trains to monitor, document, and test operation and maintenance activities conducted by contractors. They are responsible for verifying the accuracy of contractors' surveys and ensuring all work complies with established procedures and project requirements. Collaboration with contractors is key to maintaining high standards of inspection and documentation to support project compliance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out continuous, on-site visual inspections of metro stations and trains within Riyadh metro.
- Observe and assess operation and maintenance activities carried out by contractors.
- Conduct performance tests as needed to evaluate operation and maintenance functions.
- Identify and document defects, damages, or nonconformities using photographic or video evidence to support condition surveys.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the condition of metro stations and trains.
- Follow prescribed procedures to ensure inspections align with project standards and regulatory demands.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least a two-year college diploma.
- Familiarity with maintenance standards and related regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Understanding of industry regulations and standards pertinent to the domain.
- Experience in performance monitoring and quality control.
- Preferred: 2 to 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance inspection within the railway sector.
