Job Overview

At botario, you will bridge cutting-edge AI research with scalable product solutions by taking the latest developments in speech technology, large language models, and multimodal AI and evaluating their practical viability. Your role will involve reproducing results, extending concepts, and integrating models into reliable production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the AI research and open-source ecosystems closely to identify relevant advances.
• Reproduce impactful research papers and models to verify their claims and reliability.
• Design and conduct your own experiments, including ablations, benchmarks, and rigorous evaluations.
• Enhance existing methods, especially focusing on text-to-speech and speech-to-text technologies, leveraging your own ideas.
• Collaborate with the team to transition research outcomes into operational systems.

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in machine learning acquired through academic degrees, doctoral studies, or relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in PyTorch and able to implement research papers effectively, identifying practical gaps between published results and real-world application.
• Commitment to rigorous experimental methodology, including reproducible setups and unbiased comparisons.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and willingness to explore unfamiliar topics.
• Preferred but not mandatory: personal ML projects, publications, or open-source contributions; speech technology expertise is an advantage.
• Team-player attitude with experience in agile workflows.
