Role Overview
The Research Officer will join the Analytical Development team to perform analytical testing and assay development supporting drug substance and product characterization. This role involves routine testing, method development, and close collaboration with Process Development and Quality teams to facilitate development programs and technology transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and schedule experimental assays including routine analytical testing.
- Document analytical test reports and draft protocols adhering to Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and cGxP standards.
- Communicate experimental findings clearly to internal stakeholders and recommend logical next steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer of analytical methods to operational departments, including SOP and assay handover.
- Follow applicable regulations and safety protocols during all tasks.
- Adapt to dynamic workflows and contribute to various project-related assignments.
Candidate Profile
- Possess hands-on experience or competency in basic cell culture, cell-based assays, ELISA, and analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and Karl Fischer titration.
- Experience with flow cytometry, qPCR, and Western blotting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Exhibit meticulous organization and precision in experimental scheduling and documentation.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and improve analytical skills continuously.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and task-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Adaptability to changing priorities during the start-up phase of operations.
Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field is required.
- Fresh graduates with research internship experience in academic or industrial settings are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in scientific data analysis software such as Microsoft Excel, JMP, Prism, or equivalent.
Work Environment
The position is based in Ayer Rajah Crescent, Singapore. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Scientific & Sales Operations or another designated supervisor.
