Research Coordinator, Orthopaedic Surgery (Hybrid)

Overview

This role involves managing and overseeing all stages and aspects of university, community, and research projects related to orthopaedic surgery. The position requires coordination of research activities, data management, and support for grant proposals, among other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all research-related activities to ensure smooth operation of projects.
• Conduct data analysis and handle data management tasks necessary for research findings, manuscript preparation, and reports.
• Prepare summaries, research protocols, and perform both qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
• Assist the Principal Investigator in drafting and submitting grant proposals, as well as budget planning.
• Under PI guidance, draft Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation and assist in responding to IRB queries to secure final approval.
• Maintain documentation for IRB approvals and contracts, ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements.
• Collaborate with research partners and support visiting researchers on various projects.
• Contribute to manuscript writing and presentation of research outcomes.
• Participate in investigator meetings and relevant workshops.
• Adhere to internal controls and reporting protocols within the research environment.
• Perform related duties as necessary.

Working Environment

The position operates in standard hospital, clinical, laboratory, and office settings, utilizing typical office equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• No prior experience required.

Location and Work Schedule
