The role offers a dynamic environment where each day brings fresh challenges and opportunities to support the bank’s growth.
Purpose of the position
The selected professional will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and support the daily management of equity investments. The role involves detailed research, idea generation, and ongoing monitoring of portfolio positions.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Portfolio Manager with sector insights, bottom-up fundamental research, and practical stock recommendations aimed at improving equity portfolio outcomes.
- Carry out both primary and secondary research to support investment decisions.
- Build detailed financial models and perform valuation analysis.
- Contribute to investment strategy development and create asset allocation models that help improve returns while controlling risk.
- Prepare regular reports covering portfolio performance, return attribution, and benchmark comparisons.
- Track portfolio holdings each day for corporate actions and other relevant developments, coordinating with back-office and risk teams as needed.

- Maintain regular contact with company management, industry contacts, publications, and sell-side analysts to strengthen research insights.
- Assist with daily trade execution and ensure the related documentation is completed accurately.

The candidate should also bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, entrepreneurial setting. Experience with Bloomberg is required. A postgraduate degree in a relevant field is expected, and CA or CFA qualification is highly desirable. Arabic language ability is beneficial, though not essential.
