Role Overview
The organization is developing innovative tokenized equity capital markets products from the ground up. This position offers a unique opportunity for a proactive Research Analyst to join a small, influential team, contributing from product inception through launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive due diligence on prospective issuers, companies, vendors, partners, and counterparties, presenting results clearly and ready for decision-making.
- Conduct fundamental analyses and develop commercial and financial models to assess product structures, pricing strategies, allocation, deal economics, and profitability.
- Perform competitive and market research within the capital markets sector, benchmarking products, platforms, and market participants to guide positioning and strategy.
- Produce internal committee memos, decision documents, and executive presentations that distill complex analyses into succinct, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor developments in equity capital markets, including pipelines, follow-on and related offerings, and overall market conditions, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Manage transaction and product lifecycle phases by owning workstreams from research through execution.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 4 years of pertinent experience, preferably in equity capital markets or investment banking at banks, advisory firms, or similar institutions.
- Deep understanding of equity capital markets including public and private capital raise mechanisms like IPOs and follow-on offerings.
- Proficient in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of creating sophisticated, institutional-quality memos and presentations for senior audiences.
- Self-motivated with a knack for operating under ambiguity, showing initiative, and developing processes independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong commercial insight, and the ability to perform effectively under deadline pressure.
- Knowledge of digital assets and tokenization or a strong willingness to develop expertise in integrating equity capital markets with blockchain technology.
