Role overview
We are seeking a research analyst who can turn analysis into clear, timely, and practical investment ideas. This role calls for someone who can take ownership of assigned work and deliver high-quality recommendations with confidence and accountability.
What you will do
- Carry out deep fundamental research on the technology and internet space across Asia ex Japan, with particular attention to China and AI-related use cases.
- Develop and maintain financial models using historical and current data to produce forward-looking views on companies.
- Present investment recommendations to the portfolio construction committee with the aim of helping the strategy outperform its designated research universe.
Your team
You will join the Emerging Markets team in Singapore. The group manages the Emerging Markets and Asia ex Japan strategies within UBS Asset Management.
What you bring
- Ideally 5 or more years of experience as a research analyst.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in finance, engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Strong sector understanding in technology and internet, with recent exposure to AI application companies and experience covering China.
- Technical familiarity with AI applications and coding, which would be an added advantage.
- A sharp analytical mindset, self-driven working style, and the ability to perform well under pressure in an outcome-focused environment while still following structured processes.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin to work effectively with relevant stakeholders.
