The work centers on growing and refining Instagram and TikTok for a Manhattan-based dog business, with the main goals of encouraging repeat engagement and making current clients feel like they belong to an exclusive, welcoming community.
The brand sits in the space of approachable luxury: polished, warm, upscale, and inclusive. The aim is to shape an online presence that feels like a digital clubhouse for dog owners. The assignment begins with a 30-day paid trial and may develop into an ongoing partnership.
Deliverables
- Produce and refine 15 high-quality video posts each month that align with the brand’s premium but friendly tone.
- Publish three story updates every day to keep the audience engaged and active.
- Prepare content for weekly review and feedback sessions.
- Handle community engagement by replying to comments and direct messages in a way that supports loyalty and retention.
- Work with provided brand assets to maintain visual consistency and stay aligned with the existing identity.
Requirements
- Background in managing social media for local businesses or premium/luxury brands, especially with an emphasis on community growth and customer retention.
- Strong ability to edit video and tell stories visually.
- Solid knowledge of Instagram and TikTok strategies, including scheduling, engagement, and analytics.
- Clear written communication and the ability to express a warm, inclusive brand personality.
- Comfort working independently, meeting deadlines, and adjusting based on feedback.
- Familiarity with New York City culture and the local pet community is an advantage.
