This opportunity is for a socially savvy, creatively minded professional who can strengthen an upscale pet brand’s presence on Instagram and TikTok. The focus is not just on growth, but on building loyalty, encouraging repeat engagement, and creating an online space that feels welcoming, polished, and community-first. The brand’s style is best described as approachable luxury: refined, warm, and inclusive. The assignment begins with a 30-day paid trial and may develop into a longer-term working relationship.
What you will do
- Produce and refine 15 polished video posts each month that match the brand’s elegant yet friendly tone.
- Publish three story updates every day to keep the audience active and engaged.
- Prepare content for weekly review so feedback can be shared and incorporated.
- Handle day-to-day community engagement by replying to comments and direct messages in a way that builds trust and retention.
- Work with supplied brand materials to keep every post visually consistent with the existing identity.
Requirements
- Background in social media management for local businesses or premium/luxury brands, especially where community growth and client retention were key goals.
- Strong ability to edit video content and shape engaging visual stories.
- Solid knowledge of Instagram and TikTok, including scheduling, engagement tactics, and performance analysis.
- Clear written communication skills and the confidence to write in a warm, inclusive brand voice.
- Comfort working independently, staying on schedule, and adjusting work based on feedback.
- Familiarity with New York City culture and the local pet community is considered an advantage.
- A portfolio or examples demonstrating community-focused social media work are required.
