About the Role
Mercor is a company that partners top-tier creative and technical experts with AI research organizations. Operating out of San Francisco, our backers include Benchmark, General Catalyst, and other prominent investors. We are offering a contract position for a Pharmacy Technician working fully remotely, compensated at $35 per hour with an expected commitment of 30 to 40 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responses to medication-related clinical inquiries by considering patient details, authoritative references, and labeling standards.
- Evaluate AI-generated clinical responses for accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and supporting evidence.
- Amend any inaccuracies or incomplete answers, adding structured annotations and detailed feedback.
- Recognize and escalate situations with inadequate evidence, contradictory guidance, ambiguous clinical context, or risks to patient safety.
- Adhere consistently to project rubrics and quality benchmarks, engaging in calibration and feedback discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Direct operational experience with medications, prescriptions, pharmacy workflows, and prior authorization processes.
- Strong knowledge of medication safety principles, drug interactions, and pharmacy best practices.
- Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
- Adeptness in following structured annotation protocols.
- Availability to commit between 30 and 40 hours weekly throughout the project.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with prior authorizations or specialty pharmacy services.
- Experience with medication access initiatives and assistance programs.
- Working knowledge of electronic health record platforms such as Epic or Cerner.
- Background in clinical quality assurance.
- Exposure to AI evaluation, clinical content review, or health data annotation.
- Involvement with 340B or medication assistance schemes.
