Role Summary
The medical scheduler will handle appointment coordination for imaging services, support patient communication, and help keep scheduling records accurate and up to date. The role also contributes to onboarding support when needed and assists with care coordination across multiple imaging locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange, modify, and oversee patient appointments for imaging services.
- Deliver courteous and professional support to patients over the phone and through customer service interactions.
- Help support patient care operations across the network of imaging centers.
- Assist with training and onboarding activities when required.
- Keep appointment information accurate through recordkeeping and data entry.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication abilities, along with solid customer service and phone-handling skills.
- Comfort using computers and performing data entry tasks.
- Willingness to work both onsite when necessary and remotely.
- Residence within 50 miles of the office location is required.
- Prior experience in a call center or medical setting is considered an advantage.
Preferred Background
- Experience in healthcare or a customer service environment.
- Exposure to scheduling systems or medical terminology.
- Strong organizational habits and close attention to detail.
