Role overview
This contract role is focused on building the visual backbone for a new premium LGBTQIA+ electronic music and cultural brand. The assignment involves creating a high-end brand deck and visual identity presentation for a concept that blends electronic music, immersive experiences, contemporary art, fashion, architecture, and narrative-led world-building.
The goal is to position the brand more like a luxury fashion house or a world-building entertainment property than a conventional event or festival. You will work from a detailed brief and supporting concept material to shape a refined story, visual direction, and presentation system that communicates the brand’s vision, positioning, and future ambition.
The creative direction is influenced by contemporary art, luxury fashion, architecture, surrealism, mythology, and immersive environments, with an emphasis on emotional depth, transformation, and human connection.
Key deliverables
- Produce a polished brand deck that clearly expresses the brand’s story, vision, and market position.
- Build visual identity guidance, including moodboards, typography choices, colour palettes, and overall visual language.
- Develop presentation materials that reflect the brand’s philosophy, target audience, positioning, and experience concepts.
- Weave in inspiration from contemporary art, architecture, fashion, and immersive spatial design.
- Show creative direction for the brand’s next phase, including its event universe and long-term evolution.
- Make sure every asset aligns with themes of sophistication, transformation, and cultural relevance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in graphic design, supported by a portfolio with strong brand identity and presentation work.
- Solid understanding of contemporary art, fashion, architecture, and immersive experience design.
- Ability to turn complex ideas into clear, visually persuasive narratives and presentations.
- Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
- Strong command of visual storytelling, layout composition, and editorial-style design.
- Comfort working from a creative brief and collaborating on concept development.
- Genuine interest in world-building, storytelling, and culturally resonant brand creation.
- Awareness of LGBTQIA+ culture and sensitivity toward diverse audiences is strongly appreciated.
- Availability to begin immediately, with the possibility of continuing collaboration beyond the initial project.
