Role overview
HealthHero is seeking a dietician for a remote position that can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will build and provide an online nutrition and dietetics service for patients.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for a dietitian with 2 to 4 years of experience who enjoys direct clinical work in a stable remote environment.
What the role involves
- Educate patients on how balanced eating and healthy food choices can help prevent illness and support long-term wellbeing.
- Guide clients on dietary approaches that support healthier living and help them work toward specific health goals such as weight reduction, diabetes management, hormonal concerns, or lowering blood pressure.
- Review each patient’s health history and daily habits, then consider these alongside their personal health and lifestyle objectives.
Requirements
- Active registration with the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI).
- Active registration with CORU.
- A university qualification in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Residence within the Republic of Ireland.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, including some exposure to pediatric work.
- Intermediate-level IT skills.
- Strong spoken and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Good planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- Awareness of diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to supporting both.
- Dual registration for ROI and the UK is preferred; support may be available after joining if needed.
