Its purpose is to make healthcare simpler, reduce capacity pressures and administrative workload, and create meaningful new career opportunities.

Role overview

HealthHero is seeking a dietician for a remote position that can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will build and provide an online nutrition and dietetics service for patients.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for a dietitian with 2 to 4 years of experience who enjoys direct clinical work in a stable remote environment.

What the role involves

  • Educate patients on how balanced eating and healthy food choices can help prevent illness and support long-term wellbeing.
  • Guide clients on dietary approaches that support healthier living and help them work toward specific health goals such as weight reduction, diabetes management, hormonal concerns, or lowering blood pressure.
  • Review each patient’s health history and daily habits, then consider these alongside their personal health and lifestyle objectives.

Requirements

  • Active registration with the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI).
  • Active registration with CORU.
  • A university qualification in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Residence within the Republic of Ireland.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, including some exposure to pediatric work.
  • Intermediate-level IT skills.
  • Strong spoken and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Good planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Awareness of diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to supporting both.
  • Dual registration for ROI and the UK is preferred; support may be available after joining if needed.

Benefits

  • Work from home remotely.
  • 25 days of annual leave.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Private health insurance.
