Reliability Support Team Member

Role overview

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an immediate hire for a Reliability Support Team Member at its Grande Prairie sawmill. The position sits on the Weekday Team and follows a rotating schedule of Monday to Thursday nights and Tuesday to Friday days, changing every two weeks. This is a full-time, onsite role within operations, manufacturing, and construction.

What the role involves

• Carry out routine cleanup work, including removing wood debris each day to help improve equipment reliability and reduce fire or explosion risks.
• Use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment such as air wands, brooms, shovels, air chisels, and similar items, and operate chainsaws when needed.
• Complete lockout procedures when required.
• Work scheduled 11-hour shifts.
• Run mill equipment as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance activities.
• Adapt to changing operational needs across the business.

Working conditions and job details

This position is based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. The shift pattern is rotating, and relocation support is not offered. The role is classified as an individual contributor and is intended for experienced candidates.

• Physical capability to climb stairs, move across catwalks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in bending and stooping positions.

• Experience with or aptitude for operating equipment.
• Ability to work effectively both with a team and independently.
