Overview

This role of Relationship Manager within the Dealing Department centers on managing and executing client trades across equity, derivatives, and other instruments. Reporting to the Manager at the Delhi location, this position demands proficiency in client servicing within financial services, broking, or insurance sectors. The incumbent will provide market updates and investment guidance while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute client trades promptly and with precision across equities, derivatives, and additional financial instruments.
  • Manage client order intake via phone and electronic trading platforms effectively.
  • Provide clients with market news, trading ideas, and basic investment advice as permitted under guidelines.
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships aimed at increasing trading activity.
  • Review client portfolios to identify and recommend trading and investment opportunities.
  • Market and cross-sell financial products including Mutual Funds, IPOs, and Bonds.
  • Adhere strictly to regulatory and internal policies while conducting trading activities.
  • Address client inquiries regarding trades, margins, and account details promptly.
  • Collaborate with back-office and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client communications and trade executions within designated systems.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in any field required; MBA or PGDM preferred.
  • Possession of NISM certification, preferably in Equity Derivatives or Cash Segment.
  • Between 1 to 4 years of experience in dealing or client servicing roles within the broking industry.
  • Strong understanding of stock markets and familiarity with trading platforms.
  • Excellent communication abilities and relationship management skills.
  • Capability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, target-centric environment.
  • Basic analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
  • High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in trade execution.

Performance Indicators

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of client trades.
  • Maintain continuous client interaction to boost trading volumes.
  • Achieve revenue and brokerage goals through client trading activities.
  • Drive sales by promoting additional financial products to the client base.
  • Retain active clients while minimizing the volume of dormant accounts.
  • Consistently comply with all regulatory and internal dealing requirements.
