Job description
Position Overview
The Rehabilitation Consultant role is based in our Darwin office in the Northern Territory, operating Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility to work from home part of the time. This position focuses on supporting injured employees throughout their recovery process, aiding them to return safely and sustainably to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform workplace assessments to identify obstacles to return-to-work and craft personalized recovery plans.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals to foster positive recovery outcomes.
- Implement workplace interventions and tailored duties programs to facilitate recovery and successful re-entry into the workforce.
- Track client progress, offer expert recommendations, and produce detailed reports that underpin sustained recovery achievements.

Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Nursing; alternatively, qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or a Master's in Psychology.
- Registration with a relevant professional body such as AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or AASW is mandatory.
- Must hold full Australian work rights and a valid Australian driver's license.
