Role Overview
The Finance team at Revolut is central to ensuring the company's success by providing clarity, strategic insight, and risk assessment across all operations. They play a crucial role in both day-to-day activities and long-term business planning. The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will focus specifically on compliance with UK regulatory reporting standards, preparing and managing submissions such as CoRep, FinRep, and statistical reports to the PRA and Bank of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete process of external regulatory reporting and internal management information, including submissions like Bank of England statistical reports, FinRep, CoRep, and PRA110.
- Develop and uphold robust control and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory submission accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure all deadlines for regulatory reports are consistently met without compromising data integrity or completeness.
- Review and interrogate data inputs and outputs to maintain consistent and precise disclosure of regulatory information.
- Communicate complex regulatory frameworks, capital calculation methodologies, and metrics effectively across departments including Finance, Risk, and Executive Committees.
- Interpret and assess the implications of new or evolving regulatory reporting requirements.
- Analyze how new product launches affect regulatory reporting obligations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of two years' experience in financial or regulatory reporting within a UK-regulated banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of Basel III, CRD IV, and CRR regulations including CoRep and FinRep standards.
- Adept at instituting and maintaining best practices and strict control processes within expanding functions.
- Advanced analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently organize workload and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Proven history of driving and implementing operational improvements effectively.
- Technical proficiency in data warehouse management, SQL, and modern reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of professional accounting certifications such as ICAS, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Prior experience working in a challenger bank environment.
