Role Overview
This internship runs for 6 to 12 months and is based in Singapore. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out research on regulations and compliance developments so the team can build well-informed, legally aligned solutions and internal regulatory views.
- Build and update detailed databases used to monitor regulatory changes across major markets.
- Support regulatory project work, including gap assessments and preparation of supporting documents.
- Help create, review, and roll out new compliance workflows and procedures that align with applicable legal requirements.
- Draft and present clear regulatory and compliance materials such as presentations, reports, and internal updates for stakeholders.
- Handle administrative and documentation tasks linked to legal and compliance operations while maintaining accurate records.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a diploma or degree programme in food science, business, law, or a related field. Students from other disciplines who have a strong interest in regulatory and compliance work are also welcome.
The ideal intern is open-minded, well-organised, analytical, detail-focused, and able to work independently. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required, along with good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Candidates with a clear interest in regulatory affairs and compliance management will be preferred.
What You Will Learn
During the internship, you will gain practical exposure to regulatory affairs work on live business cases. This includes contributing to regulatory opinions, preparing dossiers, and supporting pre-market approval activities for commercial expansion under supervision.
You will also build a stronger understanding of risk control and compliance management processes, while receiving mentoring and guidance from experienced professionals throughout the internship.
