Core purpose of the role
The Registrar will be responsible for driving enrolment and registration activity, maintaining accurate student records, supporting parents through the admissions journey, coordinating with school leadership and head office teams, and ensuring compliance with the relevant education authority requirements.
Key duties
- Take overall ownership of school enrolment and registration activity, working closely with the school leadership team and the head office enrolments function.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records for applications, registrations, and enrolments so daily figures remain accurate.
- Meet parents after enrolment to walk them through registration steps, curriculum details, fee information, and eSIS-related requirements, while ensuring all documents are completed correctly.
- Handle registration queries, phone calls, and emails promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate the assessment process with the academic team whenever needed to keep enrolment workflows efficient.
- Manage the waiting list where applicable, keeping parents informed in a timely way and updating them on application progress.
- Maintain registration files for both new and continuing students.
- Stay current on ADEK rules and procedures and ensure the enrolment and registration process remains compliant.
- Administer eSIS processes, including student registration, withdrawals, transfers, and pre-transition activities.
- Build and sustain a strong working relationship with ADEK’s student affairs department.
- Ensure all parent-facing areas are tidy, uncluttered, and welcoming.
- Handle enquiries, assess lead quality, and act as the first point of contact for prospective parents.
- Support school tours as part of the front-of-house team and deliver them to a high standard for parents and visitors.
- Attend SLT meetings when required and provide enrolment updates.
- Collaborate with the PRE to identify approaches for attracting new enrolments and improving retention.
- Manage the re-enrolment process with the PRE and provide regular progress analysis to the Head of Enrolments and Principal.
- Prepare weekly and monthly enrolment reports and projections for the Head of Enrolments.
- Attend networking events, run and support enrolment events, and strengthen relationships with feeder nurseries and schools.
- Represent Aldar Education’s standards and ethos to prospective families.
- Work closely with the Admissions Officer to share tasks, provide enrolment support, and cover absences when needed.
- Carry out additional tasks requested by reporting managers in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate should have experience working as an Admissions or Registrar professional in the education sector, be based in Abu Dhabi, and have knowledge of the local market and competitors. At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in the region is required. Strong experience with CRM and SIS systems, along with prior data management experience, is also expected.
