Role overview
The Regional Vice President will oversee wastewater collection operations across several branch sites. The role places a strong emphasis on safety, customer responsiveness, and operational performance, while leading Branch Operations Managers and partnering with senior leadership to deliver the region’s business goals.
What you will do
- Guide and support Branch Operations Managers who are accountable for the day-to-day performance of their branches.
- Build a work environment with a strong safety mindset and work to prevent injuries and incidents for employees, customers, and the public.
- Deliver against regional targets by removing obstacles, improving execution, and driving effective solutions.
- Own full regional profit and loss responsibility.
- Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets for the region.
- Make sure staffing levels are sufficient to support revenue targets and high-quality service delivery.
- Spot opportunities to improve operations and introduce initiatives that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional efforts and improvement projects across the Services & Solutions organization.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with senior contacts at local and state regulatory bodies.
- Analyze operational, financial, and forecast information to measure progress against goals.
- Work closely with the executive team and department leaders to align regional plans with company-wide objectives.
- Help create and roll out written standard operating procedures.
- Partner with the Vice President of Operations to carry out strategic priorities set with executive leadership.
- Ensure all regional activity follows applicable laws, company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Represent the company professionally and ethically in the community and with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, leaders, clients, vendors, and outside stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other departments and regions to support broader organizational goals.

What you need
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop managers.
- Experience identifying problems, reviewing data, forming conclusions, and making sound decisions.
- Working understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent people skills and strong verbal and written communication.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel.
- At least 5 years of profit and loss management experience.
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education and 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred background in transportation, logistics, or another service delivery environment.
- Professional demeanor and solid business judgment.
Work environment
This is a general office-based role in a fast-moving setting with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines. The job may occasionally require light lifting, bending, extended sitting, and travel based on business needs.

Compensation
Expected annual salary range: $175,000 to $200,000.
