Role Overview

The Regional Supply Chain Strengthening Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the Supply Chain operations within Country Offices. This role follows a continuous improvement methodology to optimize processes, ensuring timely, effective, and quality support to project participants and stakeholders, especially funders and donors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical support and guidance for strengthening supply chain functions in Country Offices through assessments, gap identification, recruitment support, process improvements, capacity building, and onsite or virtual assistance in collaboration with the Regional Supply Chain Specialist (RSCS).
• Facilitate regional knowledge sharing and capacity building via Communities of Practice, workshops, and strategic collaboration among Regional Hub and Country Office leadership teams.
• Ensure adherence to the Supply Chain Operations Manual and promote ERP system (SAP) utilization through training, one-on-one support, and effective change management.
• Serve as the regional expert on SAP ERP and supply chain systems, troubleshoot user issues, promote data accuracy and data-driven decision-making, support fleet management systems, and assist with system access and approvals.
• Uphold and enforce global policies on Safeguarding, Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse, Gender Equality, and Inclusion within the sphere of responsibility.
• Undertake additional assignments as delegated by supervisors.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Membership in a recognized Supply Chain professional body such as CIPS Level 5 or KISM.
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in multifaceted supply chain management.
• In-depth expertise in supply chain management within humanitarian or development settings, preferably in international NGOs.
• Solid comprehension of supply chain processes, best practices, tools, methodologies, and organizational learning.
• Understanding of INGO supply chain challenges impacting project delivery, finance, monitoring, and reporting.
• Knowledge of procurement planning, sourcing, purchasing, and fleet management essentials.
• Familiarity with ERP solutions, specifically SAP MM module, fleet management tools (e.g., TracPoint), and Power BI, focusing on user engagement and data integrity.
• Experience in delivering engaging trainings (virtual and in-person) on business processes, SAP MM, and Power BI.
• Experience working cross-culturally in at least two different countries and sectors.
