Role Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the daily interactions and performance metrics of one or more logistics service providers (LSPs) within the EMEIA outbound transportation network. Your role involves ensuring adherence to specified KPIs, contractual terms, and service excellence while leveraging data analytics to uncover trends and risks. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance delivery performance through innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison for assigned LSP(s), maintaining strong relationships and promoting accountability to meet defined KPIs and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to integrate cutting-edge technologies that improve delivery experiences, focusing on sustainability, transportation mode optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Standardize operational procedures within supplier interactions and coordinate with Procurement to update contracts and pricing frameworks aligning with business evolution.
  • Ensure robust security protocols are enforced across LSP operations to minimize losses and safeguard customers, particularly preparing ahead of new product launches.
  • Coordinate between LSPs and worldwide/regional business process reengineering or manufacturing teams to maintain progress on enhancement projects.
  • Take ownership of KPI reporting and data accuracy, guaranteeing timely actionable insights across all platforms.
  • Perform outbound transport data analysis to highlight patterns, assess risks, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support automation efforts alongside Data Science teams by utilizing AI/ML technologies to discover optimization opportunities and scale solutions network-wide.
  • Utilize project management expertise to spearhead supplier improvement projects from conception to completion, actively influencing diverse teams.
  • Work closely with colleagues within EMEIA Logistics and broader operations to sustain superior customer delivery standards while managing variable workloads.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in supplier management, logistics, supply chain, or transport operations with direct responsibility for third-party logistics providers.
  • High analytical proficiency with large and complex datasets, capable of translating data into meaningful insights for technical and business audiences.
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills, comfortable achieving results without having formal authority.
  • Excellent communication abilities to clearly explain complex topics to varied audiences.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies spanning multiple phases.
  • Strong prioritization skills focusing on impact with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven and results-focused mindset, adept at rapid problem identification and resolution.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad experience in managing outbound logistics, transportation, or supplier relationships across various countries or regions.
  • Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts including data modeling and automation; able to apply this understanding in projects and technical collaborations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, business administration, IT, economics, or related discipline.
  • Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or similar in supply chain/logistics.
  • Program management experience emphasizing continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Innovative problem-solving capabilities, able to navigate ambiguity and implement practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated application of AI/ML techniques within logistics or supply chain functions to foster operational advancements.
