Company Overview
Srisha Global Capital is supporting a major Indian jewellery manufacturer in the creation of a premium global platform for sourcing bullion. The organization is looking for a seasoned commercial expert who can establish and grow direct sourcing partnerships with gold producers, licensed exporters, and government-recognized gold authorities across Africa.
This position is centered on relationships, commercial negotiation, and the development of a dependable supplier base throughout the region.
What You Will Do
- Build and nurture relationships with gold mining businesses, licensed exporters, and government gold bodies across Africa.
- Source, identify, and evaluate fresh opportunities for doré procurement.
- Carry out supplier screening and commercial evaluation exercises.
- Support and negotiate business terms alongside the Head of Global Bullion Sourcing.
- Represent the company during mine visits, trade events, and supplier discussions.
- Track market shifts, regulatory updates, and risks specific to each country.
- Partner with operations and compliance teams to keep transactions moving efficiently.
- Share ongoing market insights and supplier progress updates.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in gold mining, bullion, commodity trading, or precious metals.
- A strong network within the African gold sector.
- Direct experience working with mining companies, licensed exporters, or public sector agencies.
- Excellent skills in negotiation and relationship building.
- Solid knowledge of doré supply chains and international bullion markets.
- Readiness to travel frequently across Africa.
- French language ability will be considered an advantage.
