About the Team

The ShopeeFood Regional Business Intelligence & Planning unit is instrumental in shaping ShopeeFood's strategy and operational planning. This team ensures alignment among different markets by standardizing workflows, defining best practices, and equipping senior leaders with critical data and insights for sound decision-making.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive reports to deliver actionable insights on merchant performance to senior leadership, spotlighting significant trends and growth prospects.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), adoption rates of merchant programs, and success metrics across the region.
• Establish standardized definitions and methodologies for essential metrics, guiding local merchant management teams on analytical focus areas.
• Analyze operational hurdles related to merchants, such as extended preparation times, and design data-backed solutions for improvement.
• Partner with regional and local teams to create and enforce incentive and penalty frameworks that encourage positive merchant behaviors, including lowering cancellation rates and enhancing product listing quality.
• Compare ShopeeFood's merchant operation processes with competitors and suggest or implement new best practices to optimize the merchant ecosystem.
• Facilitate coordination with local and regional groups to ensure consensus on project scope, details, and deployment plans.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to refine project management approaches and disseminate effective practices.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, Finance, or related fields is required.
• Previous internship or employment experience within a technology firm or a high-paced startup environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude with a talent for converting data into practical insights.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
