About Foundation for Women Warriors

The Foundation for Women Warriors is an established organization dedicated to supporting women veterans and their children by addressing critical needs including housing, childcare, employment, and education. Through programs focused on financial education, childcare assistance, essential items, and professional development, the organization empowers women veterans to improve their economic and personal well-being.

Position Summary

The Regional Outreach Manager will be instrumental in increasing the reach and impact of the Foundation's programs along the East Coast. This role involves building partnerships, coordinating outreach efforts, and ensuring seamless implementation of initiatives to support the mission of the Foundation for Women Warriors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture collaborations with community organizations, volunteers, corporate partners, and veteran groups to promote the Foundation’s mission.
  • Identify and engage new partners to broaden program delivery and resource availability for women veterans.
  • Represent the organization at community functions, networking events, resource fairs, and public forums to enhance visibility and foster relationships.
  • Create and execute outreach campaigns to raise awareness of programs, services, and events within community and veteran networks.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with corporate and nonprofit partners through consistent communication and engagement.
  • Work alongside internal teams to develop social media and digital content that increases program exposure and supports partnership initiatives.
  • Organize and oversee East Coast-based events and community activities aligned with organizational goals and community requirements.
  • Coordinate event logistics including venue scheduling, material preparation, and managing volunteers and vendors.
  • Keep detailed records on event resources, participation, outcomes, and participant feedback for reporting and assessment.
  • Track and report key event and operational metrics to leadership to assist in planning and improvement efforts.
  • Support administrative tasks and assist with various projects and organizational responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience in community outreach, partnerships, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independently in a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective project management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
  • Understanding of community resources and ability to link participants to appropriate services.
  • Self-driven, responsible, adaptable to shifting priorities, and motivated by the organization’s mission.
  • Cultural competence with capability to work inclusively with diverse groups.
  • Willing to travel for meetings, training, and events.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed.

Position Details and Benefits

Reports directly to the Programs Director. Benefits include Health Reimbursement Account, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Tuition reimbursement, and 401k matching. The offered salary range is $72,000 to $92,000 annually.
