Job Overview

The Regional Operations Officer role involves managing client communication across various platforms, aiding in membership and beneficiary claim validations, and supporting member engagement activities, including delivering presentations. The officer will be strategically positioned to enhance service quality and client satisfaction within the assigned regions.

Primary Duties

  • Respond swiftly and professionally to client inquiries via email, WhatsApp, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Offer precise information and support concerning pension products, membership applications, contributions, and claim issues.
  • Address and resolve client complaints and escalated matters within established service timelines.
  • Perform initial verification and processing of membership and beneficiary claims received from clients.
  • Seek and propose improvements in service delivery to boost client satisfaction within the designated areas.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Insurance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience in pensions, financial services, banking, insurance, operations, client service, or a similar sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities coupled with interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Competency in report writing and delivering presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Readiness to undertake extensive travel within the allocated region.
  • Familiarity with local geography and healthcare systems within the region is beneficial.
