Regional Operations Manager

Overview

Leshines is seeking a seasoned Regional Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the entire warehousing, logistics, and supply chain functions for Saudi Arabia from Riyadh. This pivotal leadership position involves formulating and implementing efficient operational strategies that streamline processes while aligning closely with the headquarters in China and ensuring full compliance with Saudi regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive operational strategies within the region to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness across warehousing, logistics, and the whole supply chain.
• Supervise all warehouse activities including management of 4PL/3PL providers, inventory control, and safety standards; oversee logistics operations encompassing cross-border transportation, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery, ensuring service excellence meets company and client expectations.
• Lead full cycle project management for operational initiatives including defining scope, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting to align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for operational performance, perform routine data analyses to discover improvement areas, and drive continual enhancement of operational productivity and service quality.
• Build, guide, and grow a high-performing operations team while nurturing local management talent and organizing regular team meetings to ensure collaboration and alignment.
• Serve as the main liaison between the Saudi operations team, company headquarters, internal departments, local clients, third-party service providers, government entities, and other stakeholders, maintaining robust and long-term partnerships.
• Support operational execution and setup related to warehouse infrastructure, local office establishment, and company registration locally.
• Ensure optimal use of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and other core technologies to increase visibility and control over operations.
• Guarantee strict adherence to all local laws, transportation regulations, and safety requirements within Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Professional logistics or supply chain certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD are advantageous.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with a minimum of 5 years occupying leadership roles.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience managing large-scale warehousing and logistics operations, including familiarity with 4PL/3PL models and cross-border supply chains.
• Experience working in the Middle East region, especially Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
• Proficiency with logistics management software like WMS and TMS and strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills with the ability to coordinate resources efficiently.
• Resilient and adaptable to high-pressure, fast-paced environments, willing to work flexible hours.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a significant plus.

• Full-time position located onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
