About the Role
This position sits within ABB’s Motion High Power business and supports the Middle East & Africa region. It reports to the Regional Sales Manager, MOHP Middle East & Africa.
The role is designed for a hybrid working model. You will act as a key regional partner to the sales organization, helping shape and deliver marketing and communications efforts that support growth, visibility, and customer engagement across multiple countries in the region.
What You Will Do
- Create and deliver a regional marketing and communications plan that supports business goals and follows ABB brand guidelines.
- Oversee budgets, supplier coordination, and cost control while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Track performance results and market trends, then share insights to help guide decisions.
- Plan and launch products, campaigns, events, media initiatives, and lead-generation programs with clear messaging and channel alignment.
- Adapt global content and messaging so it remains relevant for local markets and channels.
- Drive customer engagement initiatives that contribute to local business growth.
- Create regional communication platforms that encourage collaboration across countries.
- Advise local and regional leaders on brand, public relations, digital presence, and internal communications.
- Work closely with cross-divisional teams to maintain a consistent message for target audiences.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 10 years of marketing experience, with clear progression in complex matrix organizations.
- Strong background in brand management, demand generation, digital channels, and media relations.
- Proven experience in technical B2B or industrial marketing and communications.
- Familiarity with markets in the Middle East & Africa is strongly preferred.
- Leadership experience managing multicultural teams across multiple countries.
- Comfort using digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and contribute new ideas.
- Ability to manage regional coordination while handling country-level operational needs.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with local and global leaders.
- Strong supplier negotiation skills with a focus on cost efficiency, quality, and service levels.
- Good analytical ability to measure outcomes and improve campaign performance.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
