About the Role
Dynacare is looking for a Regional Manager, Health Services to oversee Laboratory and Health Services Centers within the assigned region. This position focuses on strengthening team performance, improving customer care, and ensuring operations run efficiently while supporting quality and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will help guide the region toward a service model that delivers a consistently strong customer experience, supports employees through positive workplace relations, and aligns day-to-day activity with broader company goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional transformation of Laboratory and Health Services Centers into a delivery model centered on excellent and consistent customer care.
- Create a positive employee relations environment that encourages teamwork and follows established HR policies and practices.
- Build trust through open communication with direct reports, address feedback, and ensure alignment with company and departmental goals.
- Work with the Director, Health Services Operations and Human Resources when support or direction is needed to improve client, customer, or employee outcomes.
- Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and recognize team members to build a high-performing workforce.
- Partner with clients, respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, explain processes, and resolve concerns to ensure strong client satisfaction.
- Review workflows and recommend improvements that strengthen consistency and service quality across laboratory operations and client interactions.
- Monitor regional metrics and performance indicators related to cost, quality, delivery, safety, and customer experience, and implement corrective measures when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support regional goals and corporate strategy.
- Prepare and manage regional operating budgets, identify savings opportunities, and recommend cost improvements.
- Create operating reports using key metrics and performance data.
- Stay current through ongoing learning on industry trends, legal requirements, regional developments, and technology changes.
- Support Business Development efforts for onboarding new clients.
- Coordinate maintenance and renovation activities for regional sites with the Manager, Support Services.
- Promote a healthy and safe workplace and take part in health and safety activities such as training, communication, inspections, investigations, and safety promotion.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in laboratory or health services operations, strong leadership ability, and a customer-first mindset. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, guide teams in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and service delivery.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Healthcare, Science, or Business.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a busy, customer-facing environment preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience required.
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office and relevant software.
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Change Management training is required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and meet competing deadlines.
- Experience managing people and developing talent into high-performing teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with management and non-management employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with initiative while also contributing as a collaborative team member.
- Demonstrated customer focus and the ability to influence a customer-centric culture across direct and indirect reports.
- Strong drive to deliver results across several priorities at once.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, shipment logistics, and specimen handling.
