About the Role
We are excited to invite applications for the position of Regional Manager within the Commercial Business Intelligence (CBI) team for Africa, based in Doha, Qatar. This leadership role involves crafting strategic frameworks to evaluate sales team performance and key performance indicators across multiple sales channels and customer segments. The role provides oversight of regional revenue management, supports data-driven decision making, and leads enhancement projects and training for local CBI teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the revenue portfolio for Africa, including both online and offline territories.
- Collaborate with head office leadership to develop and implement regional strategies.
- Identify and execute sales process improvements by setting targets and monitoring outcomes.
- Establish best practices in analytics and metric reporting by aligning talent, tools, and processes.
- Deliver comprehensive insights into each point of sale (POS), analyzing competition and market risks to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry and regional trends, sharing knowledge with stakeholders.
- Lead analysis efforts on new business ventures within the region.
- Coordinate with central planning and data science teams to align global revenue opportunities and adopt new data tools and techniques.
- Develop revenue objectives and KPIs alongside senior management and facilitate a performance monitoring system for commercial staff.
- Provide regular revenue updates and conduct performance reviews with stakeholders.
- Lead budgeting processes supporting commercial target settings and optimize cost-of-sale allocations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Supervise and develop team members, ensuring high service standards and continuous skills development.
- Ensure compliance with data protection principles in all information handling.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required by senior executives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong presentation and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL.
- Ability to clearly present complex data models.
- Proven managerial and leadership skills including delegation, mentoring, coaching, and team building.
