Role overview
The Regional Human Resources Manager for EMEA will lead the people function across the region and connect LMI’s global HR approach with local practices and expectations. Reporting to the Director of HR at headquarters, this position acts as an HR partner to regional leaders and contributes as a member of the EMEA Regional Management Team.
This opportunity suits someone who enjoys a fast-moving technology environment, works well in cross-functional teams, and brings creativity along with strong problem-solving ability. The role is based in an EMEA office, ideally in Germany, such as Berlin, Munich, or Frankfurt.

Regional HR operations
- Lead the adaptation and administration of regional benefits, compensation processes, and healthcare plans so they align with global frameworks.
- With support from headquarters recruitment, oversee talent pipeline building, end-to-end hiring, and local onboarding for new employees.
- Manage employee lifecycle programs in the region, including performance management, career development, learning initiatives, and exit processes.
- Make sure global HR programs, policies, processes, and tools are applied consistently and appropriately across the region.
Strategic HR business partnering
- Advise regional leaders on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent development to support future business needs.
- Take an active role in the EMEA Regional Management Team and bring HR insight into regional business planning.
- Work with regional leadership to strengthen workplace culture, engagement, and alignment across the region.
- Partner with global leaders on mergers and acquisitions, including HR due diligence, talent review, and post-merger integration to align cultures, systems, and policies.
- Coach managers and leaders on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.
Governance, compliance, and culture
- Drive LMI’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the diverse EMEA region.
- Collect, assess, and apply regional market data and workforce trends to improve people practices.
- Develop regional HR practices that balance global compliance with local legal requirements and market competitiveness.
- Use local expertise to provide practical and forward-looking HR recommendations to the global HR team.
- Stay current on regional people policies, employment standards, legal updates, work requirements, and employment insurance obligations.
- Handle other related and incidental responsibilities as assigned.

Education and experience
- A degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in HR business partnering and leadership within a fast-paced high-tech environment.
- Proven experience designing and delivering HR programs that improve employee experience.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment.
- Experience supporting or leading HR integration during mergers, acquisitions, or market expansion is strongly preferred.
- Comfort using modern workplace tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, plus hands-on exposure to HRIS, ATS, and related HR systems.
- Strong working knowledge of regional labor law and employment legislation.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, organization, interpersonal, and influencing capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives at the same time.
- High attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving ability.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, with empathy, a confident presence, and the ability to deliver difficult messages sensitively to varied audiences.
Eligibility
