Regional General Manager - Marriott Hospitality

About the Role

Ghoman Hotels & Resorts is recruiting a seasoned Regional General Manager with proven experience managing Marriott-branded hotel properties. This position is based at Residence Inn by Marriott in Carmel, Indiana, and reports directly to the ownership and CEO. The role entails leading multiple properties to surpass financial goals and operational standards while strictly following Marriott International's brand guidelines and quality assurance protocols.

Key Duties

• Provide leadership across several Marriott properties, overseeing General Managers and guiding them to meet both operational and monetary goals.
• Ensure uniform implementation of Marriott brand standards at all hotel locations.
• Drive revenue enhancement, profit maximization (including Gross Operating Profit and Net Operating Income), and expand market share for each property.
• Manage budgets, profit and loss statements, forecasts, and implement effective cost-control measures.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to boost asset value and hotel performance.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to Marriott QA audit standards and coordinate property inspections with brand teams.
• Supervise daily operations across departments, introduce best practices to elevate service delivery and efficiency, and swiftly resolve escalating operational challenges.
• Support business growth initiatives such as new hotel developments, acquisitions, and brand conversions, and collaborate in strategic planning to strengthen market position.
• Recruit, mentor, and nurture General Managers and leadership teams, driving performance management and succession planning, while cultivating a culture aligned with Marriott's service excellence.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards, actively mitigating operational and financial risks.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience (10-15+ years) in hospitality leadership, with a focus on multi-property management within Marriott International hotels.
• Deep knowledge of Marriott brand standards, systems, QA audits, and operational frameworks.
• Proven financial acumen, including full P&L accountability and financial strategy execution.
• A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or specialized hospitality degree is preferred.
