Position Summary

The Regional Executive Vice President is a senior enterprise leader who will oversee business performance, operational execution, financial outcomes, and strategic growth across a designated geographic region. This role is responsible for guiding regional business units, facilities, market teams, and support functions while ensuring all activity stays aligned with overall corporate objectives.

The position calls for strong executive leadership across regional executives, operational leaders, sales teams, and support departments to strengthen profitability, customer satisfaction, operational quality, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct regional operations and lead strategic initiatives within the assigned territory.
  • Manage business units, operational sites, and senior leadership teams across the region.
  • Make sure regional execution supports company-wide goals and priorities.
  • Set measurable performance standards, KPIs, and accountability systems for regional teams.
  • Improve consistency, efficiency, and growth across all regional operations.
  • Create and implement growth plans and regional expansion strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue sources.
  • Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and post-deal regional integration efforts.
  • Study market trends, competition, and customer needs in the region.
  • Partner with corporate leadership on long-term planning and strategy.
  • Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
  • Improve profitability and drive operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Track revenue, cost control, labor productivity, and other key performance indicators.
  • Allocate resources and capital effectively to support business priorities.
  • Support enterprise financial planning and risk management activities.
  • Oversee region-specific operations, service delivery, production, logistics, or other core functions as required by the industry.
  • Raise quality standards, streamline processes, and enhance customer experience.
  • Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.
  • Ensure adherence to company policy, regulatory obligations, and safety requirements.
  • Support modernization efforts and digital transformation programs.
  • Lead regional vice presidents, directors, general managers, and executive operational leaders.
  • Hire, coach, and develop senior leadership talent.
  • Build high-performing regional management teams.
  • Strengthen employee engagement, organizational culture, and leadership accountability.
  • Support succession planning and broader workforce development initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with major clients, investors, business partners, and government bodies.
  • Represent the organization in executive meetings, conferences, and regional events.
  • Resolve complex operational and customer issues at a senior level.
  • Support branding and reputation-building efforts for the enterprise.
  • Work with community and industry stakeholders to advance business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements across the region.
  • Support risk management and business continuity planning.
  • Lead operational audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action plans.
  • Promote ethical business conduct and workplace safety.
  • Work closely with finance, HR, legal, IT, operations, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic programs.
  • Support the rollout of new technologies, systems, and operating models.
  • Maintain clear communication and alignment between regional and corporate leadership.

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or an executive leadership degree is preferred.

The role calls for 20+ years of executive leadership or regional management experience, along with a proven record of success managing multi-site or multi-region operations. A strong background in strategic planning, financial oversight, and organizational leadership is expected, and executive-level experience in large or complex organizations is preferred.
