Role overview

This is a 12-month contract engagement through Tundra Technical Solutions to support Meta. The position sits within Meta’s Global Response Org, which works to protect people and businesses across Meta’s apps by addressing harmful content, malicious activity, and other safety risks. The team combines technology with cross-functional coordination to maintain a safer online environment.

In this position, you will review incoming work routed through Global Response Org production queues and use your language ability, cultural understanding, and knowledge of Meta’s enforcement standards to make accurate decisions. You will act as a regional subject matter expert for the assigned market, especially for items that need local context. When cases are not straightforward, you will partner with internal teams to reach the right outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and resolve items arriving through GRO production queues such as SRT and Cases, while meeting the required turnaround targets.
  • Apply Meta’s policy framework, including Community Standards, Advertiser & Commerce Policies, and relevant product rules, to content from the assigned market or region.
  • Use strong Hindi fluency and deep awareness of local culture, geopolitics, and community norms to evaluate content accurately in context.
  • Develop and maintain expert-level comfort with Meta’s enforcement systems and tooling so queue work is handled efficiently and correctly.
  • Work with teams such as Policy, Legal, and Operations when cases need additional interpretation or are especially complex.
  • Deliver decisions that meet quality standards and support the overall accuracy of enforcement operations.
  • Escalate matters that do not fit existing decision guidance or need specialist review without delay.
  • Keep up with changes to policies, implementation rules, workflow updates, and enforcement standards for the assigned region.
  • Participate in a 24/7 global operating model, including possible weekend or after-hours on-call coverage.
  • Handle exposure to potentially disturbing or graphic material, including violent imagery, offensive language, child exploitation, animal abuse, self-harm, and related content.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, online operations, or a comparable role in a technology company.
  • Strong command of Hindi, with the ability to understand language nuance, cultural context, and regional meaning for the Hindi-speaking market.
  • Proven accuracy in reviewing large volumes of content or enforcement work.
  • Ability to understand and consistently follow detailed policy-implementation guidance.
  • Comfort working with graphic, sensitive, or objectionable material and familiarity with Meta Community Standards.
  • Good judgment under pressure, especially when deadlines are tight and priorities compete.
  • Clear communication and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with content moderation tools and queue-based workflows.

Contract terms
